Fear and relief all in one...

Today was D day... confirmed I require the cut. As with most, I am both gutted and terrified. I have been reading this post this evening and although the fear remains the fact it shows the recovery is a limited time soothes me somewhat. Phimosis/Balantis is the cause, my cock is currently very sore with Cuts on the foreskin and I can’t retract it, I have been given a cream with anti-biotics, steroids and anti-fungal - praying this makes things bearable as sadly been told 4-5 months waiting list for the op. This forum will definitely help me, I will certainly share my journey when the time comes, its a relief in itself that I am not suffering alone

Sorry to hear about you needing to go under the knife. It sounds like you will be going in for the same reasons as I did.

I am currently on day 9. I can honestly say that, it was definitely worth it for me.

Thanks Satri. Yeah sadly it appears I have zero choice. Google is a dangerous place when searching for good news regarding getting cut but this website has certainly eased my fears. Can’t say am looking forward to it though!

Cuts almost always result from a yeast infection. Clotrimazole by itself is generally the treatment of choice to cure it. Once yeast is cured, the tightness is easily resolved by simple daily exercises for two months.

Tried a few creams and stretching, the cuts just get worse and in turn the foreskin just gets tighter

Try Clotrimazole without using a steroid.
