A friend has a Ureaplasma infection and he's worried to have sperm problem, he's married for two years and have not got a child. Do you think the infertility is due to the sperm problem caused by Ureaplasma infection?

It seems to be true that Ureaplasma infection may have a negative impact on semen quality, however if you clear out the infection it won't do any harm to your semen production. It is possible for your friend to take some herbs such as diuretic and anti-inflammatory pills to treat Ureaplasma so he won't have to worry about sperm problem anymore.

It would make sense for your friend’s partner to get herself tested as the problem can be passed on during intercourse and to an unborn child.

Your friend should be treated with the appropriate antibiotic and then have a sperm test once the infection has gone.
