Circumcision issues

So i was circumcised 3 days ago from having something call BXO, went well no issues hospital and staff was really good, had a Saturday opp which was an overtime list, this meant there was virtually no patients there 3 that i saw so it was really quiet, went in for 9am had the pop at 3pm. I would check the time of opperation if I was you because i was allowed to go back home untill 12 no way i was sitting there for 6 hours. But i was home by 5pm which is better than staying on a ward all night.

So my only issues are erections every night so far, sore and pain full for a good hour afterwards, only at night though sleep during the day and nothing! Might try going nocturnal.

The single bit of gauze left around the wound seems stuck tight, don't want to pull in case it opens up the wound. Have been covering in Vaseline think this helps with erections aswell.

I'm changing the dressing daily untill I feel comfortable keeping it off as its very sensitive ! Makes you cringe! Oh and if you keep it on you will get it wet with urine so it needs changing 2 or 3 times a day.

Plus the pain is pretty bad on and off so make sure you take all the painkillers on time as told by the nurses, manage this and its ok, morphine helps, knocks you for six i have used this probably twice a day when it gets bad, just make sure your in bed as it is very strong, get a decent nap out of it.

if anyone can help or relate to this please do, I'm only on day 3 and I'm up at 2pm with erection and now i cant sleep! So its hard work, and I'm sure there's more to come.
