Antibiotics after Circumcision

Hello friends, just curious that for how many days you had antibiotics after the circumcision surgery?

I wasn't given any antibiotics. Literally told to just take paracetamol or neurofen as painkillers if i need it and that's it.

yes, that was my case also was only given Paracetamol and advised to take them 3x a day for 3 days... there after i could take any pain killer if i felt the need to do so

Hey man, I got mine on Monday. I’ve got doxyclyne or something like, take it twice a day, and didn’t see for how long but bottle will prolly last me 2-3 weeks. Make sure and take them to prevent infection!’

Same, I’m just going to keep taking until I’ve used them all, better safe than sorry my friend.

I was given a week’s course of amoxicillin and two weeks of co-codomol as pain relief.

I didn’t receive any medication for my revision and did fine without. I do think the first private practice were after as much money as they could get so billed for everything under the sun.
