Day 6 post circumcision

It’s day 6 and there are still spots of blood especially on the under side. My pee stream has not gone back to normal.... keep having to change my bandages after I pee. I don’t know how I’m going to go on with this till it’s completely healed.

Hi Lou, don’t worry these are completely normal side effects. You’re very early days yet, so don’t give up hope! The first couple of weeks are tough!!

Am glad to hear that. Feel better today. Same side effects but a lot more positive today.

I continued to find specs of blood up until around day 11 or 12, it’s a slow process, but you’ll get there!!!

There really isn't a point in bandaging you penis after the first 24-48 hours. The only thing you might want to do is use a gauze with vaseline (medical) over it to cover your penis head in case you want to wear underwear or pants etc.

Minor bleeding from the frenulum part can happen, usually during the night or mornings after erections. Thought it should be a few drops max. Get used to peeing sitting down for a while, it took me quite some before I started peeing standing up ^^. But it will get back to normal don't worry.
