Frenulum problems

Hi guys, so I'm in week 2 and a half after my circumcision for phimosis. I can finally retract my foreskin down fully when it's not hard, and half way down when erect. The reason why I can't fully retract when hard is that my frenulum is really short, like it doesn't even move, it is stuck to my glans and I can't pull any skin down where the frenulum is. I still have stitches in, but I dont know if it's because of the stitches that I can't pull it down yet or is it because I have a really short frenulum and I should go to the doctor about it? thanks for answering.

I think yes. Maybe you need remove frenulum as well to get less problem like swelling...

Perhaps he had a partial circumcision?

I was circumcised for phimosis, the doctor didn't see the point of removing all of the foreskin but only the necessary amount.

Let it heal before trying to assess the situation. If the frenulum is too short, you can stretch it to lengthen it, or you can have it removed.

You likely had a partial circumcision, I have read it is like best of both worlds. Your doctor should of checked your frenulum during the operation. Most people with tight foreskin have tight frenulum as well since it never stretched while growing.

Only reason I can think why didn't check was he used a clamp or plastic ring to remove part of the foreskin. Doing so he did not retract the skin and immediately closed the wound.

Yeah I'm pretty sure I got partial circumcision. Am I suppose to go to the doctor again and maybe get the frenulum cut off or are there any other way that can help without going to the doctor? :))

Before I got circumcised I did a lot of research for fixing tight foreskin and tight frenulum. Tight foreskin can almost always be correct by doing stretching exercise and/or wearing flesh tunnels to make it wider. People who are diligent in doing this are typically successful within 6 months. The frenulum can also be stretched however because the type of tissue it is and the location of it, it is harder. Because of this it can take a about 1-3 years to stretch it, assuming you stretch it 3 times a day and use steroid medication to assist. Because of this it is better to have it corrected via surgery so you only have recovery time.

I decided to try this. I was able to greatly improve tight foreskin however I hit a dead end on the frenulum after 1 year. I had many reasons why i decided to get circumcised and i asked the doctor to remove mine even though he said it was possible to make the cut so it heals longer. I decided to remove because mine was extremely short and would cause pain.
