(circumcision) How can I see if stitches healed?? IMAGE
Hello, I got cicumcised in January but the stiches fell apart, so I had my other circumcision surgery done 2 days ago. I was wondering how you could tell if the stiches have healed or not? Am I supposed to pull the skin down?
Most likely your stitches (incision part) are covered by the remaining shaft skin. If stitches are out and healed, the best indicator for that is that you cannot see them and they dissolved. If it doesn't hurt, try to pull back the shaft skin a little to "expose" the incision section and to see if you can still see the stitches. If yes, they are still there (duh) and if not then they dissolved and main wound most likely healed.
It looks like its healing perfectly. Only that it takes time to be fully healed. Keep on using warm water with salt to clean the wound. You don't need to pull back the skin once you healed the stitches will either be dissolved or be exposed then you can let them be removed. Don't stress you okay.
