Prosthetic testi

I am a 20 year old male, 8 I had my right testi removed about 6 months ago as it was twisted in my groin and decided to have a prosthetic implanted however they didn't do it because the surgeon said my canal in the ground was enlarged, so a a few days ago I was back and had my canal reduced and the prosthetic implanted it feels ok but is riding high near my ground where my old one was but. It fully as my groun has been sealed, I've read online it takes a while for the scrotum to get used to having a new testicle in and work it's way down just wondered if anyone else had this done or any ideas how long to wait before I ring the uruology department about how high it is

Many Thanks in advance.
