Circumcision - Bleeding around stitches?

Hi guys, I'm 17 years old and got circumcised around 9 days ago. The first three days of recovery were fine and normal, but around the fourth to the present day, the skin around my stitches has been bleeding. I read that this was completely normal so I didn't complain at first, however, it's been the ninth day and my sleep has been disrupted countless times. The area always gets so itchy even if I shower, not to mention, my swelling is diminishing very slowly. My three other brothers were circumcised, but I'm the only one experiencing as much bleeding and sleeping problems. There is no real pain, just occasional tickles and disturbances which I'm becoming very impatient about. Especially the swelling. I can never sleep in a comfortable position because I always ha e to face head-up and pull my loose shorts up as I'm laying down. My sleeps are in almost 2-hour cycles of me getting disturbed.

So has anyone else had a similar experience? How long until the area around my stitches stops bleeding? And how much longer can I expect the swelling to bother my sleep?

I had a similar experience, don’t worry.

I would only bleed at night, and wake up with nocturnal erections. Slowly the areas which bled stopped and scabbed and the night pain also stopped.

Thanks man. The reassurance I needed. Circumcision is just a pain in the butf when I spend half of my summer break at home recovering lol

I initially booked a week off work thinking I would bounce back..... so wrong!

Theee weeks later and I’m still working remotely from home!

After the second week things really start to improve quickly!!

Tradition and we all wanted to anyways. One of my brothers also had an extreme case of phimosis. Also, we travelled to this country because circumcision was only $10 per person (not including tbe painkiller and antibiotics we had to purchase afteewards) compared to around $1000 in the States.

I am having the same experience now...It's my 4th day of healing...What did u done..At that time when u suffered these
