Been about 34 days since I had my circumcision. Some stitches that used to be visible have dissolved but how do we know if all of them have gone?

It still feels like some of them are present under the skin. There's no pain during erections or mast, so I'm not worrying rn but I will relocate soon so getting restless

You will be able to feel them… and it will depend upon the type of stitch that was used. Some sutures dissolve quicker than others.

I done mine there last week, also have stitches and didn't even think that I could potentially still feel them internally until they dissolve,

I wanted to ask how long you needed to wait before you started washing with soap after your circumcision?

I waited a week based on my surgeons advice, got dressing removed after about 4/5 days . Then started taking bath normally after 7th day. I think if everything is going fine then you will automatically know when it feels okay to wash with soap.

It’s crazy the difference in surgeons. Mine said 24 hours and shower normally, do not scrub or vigorously wash penis for two weeks. I’ve been using dial gold antibacterial… less soap and more water. Haven’t had issue. 50% of my stitches have dissolved.

Same here. The post surgery care instructions are quite varied. I too was asked to remove the bandage the day after surgeru and have normal bath while everywhere on the internet, I found that most people were asked to keep the bandage for 3 to 5 days typically.
