Stitches coming off too early

Hi, I'm currently on my 6th day post-circumcision surgery. Was wondering what would happen if one of my stitches came off (I suspect but I'm not entirely sure) and bleeding happens there but it's very little? Dried blood accumulates at that area so I'm not sure if that will cause an infection or should I just leave it there?

Of course I'm not gonna touch that area it's too sensitive and dangerous there now. Some pics of how it looks like. Do tell me if there are any problems!! Thank you so much.

I doubt there is a problem with just one stitch. If your are well tried, there is no harm in getting it checked by your doc or surgeon.

So should I just leave the dried blood there, as seen in the picture? Would it cause any infection?

Dried blood should cause no infection. It protects have healing wound below it.

Alright! So you are saying I should leave them alone right?

At six days the sutures have almost done their work. They will start to dissolve anyway any day now.

Thanks! Is occasional mild bleeding from the frenulum at this point normal as well?

I wouldn’t be too concerned, but this is only my opinion. If it went on for more than a few more days I’d check with a doctor.

Yes it's normal and can happen more with morning erections. I was advised by the doc to not mess with it when the erections happen. Also to avoid sexual viewings. I. Kept a light wrap of gauze for like 2 weeks just changing it after showers. It helped with absorbing and slowing down the blood. Soon the bleeding will stop once it gets a solid chance to heal.

Thanks bros, now there's a huge dried blood area at the right side (see my recent post) cos I think the stitch there broke. It's getting bigger because more blood gets dried there. Might visit the doctor later today to get it fixed.

Yes definitely do that. Good news is it is drying up and not staying constant.

There is still occasional bleeding at that open part, so it hasnt stopped although its a little only.

I too have recently been circumcised. What I did is every night before bed I would apply a dressing. This dressing includes Vaseline. Apply this to the area all around. Wrap some gauze around it and then use medical tape to firmly hold it in place. Of course you want to cut the tape down to size. Not too much or too less. I’d remove it in the morning a reapply before the day.

Some people ask “Why Vaseline?” Here’s the answer. If you try alcohol/anything antiseptic good luck. You’ll be burning like a bitch. And the area will be severely dried out. That’s why I say use Vaseline. Keeping it moist is very IMPORTANT. And it’ll help that area stay moist. And rejuvenated.

I did dressings for the whole two weeks. Went to my checkup and the surgeon said everything was good. After he tells you to keep them off do so. But if you’re in any discomfort or the head is still sensitive then continue dressing it. Until you’re comfortable. Go slow. Baby steps.
