I had a circumcision on July 4. My wound is healing well, but only one stitch came out so I went to my surgeon for a check-up on July 24. He pulled out 2 loose stitch and said he will be going on a vacation for 2 weeks, If i still have stitches in he will remove them. So I have to wait till August 7 or 14 (He only works on Wednesday and I don't know which day he will return) but I'm afraid if the stitches stay in for almost 6 weeks they will cause problems. I am really afraid of getting stitch tunnels or to the a very weird scar. What should I do? I'm afraid to remove them by myself, or should I just wait? I don't know what type of stitches they are. The surgeon only said to use chamomile tea until the stitches fall out.
Also can I take baths? Or should I just continue showering?

Also you need to be patient, mine were soluble and progressed roughly the same rate as yours. As I recall it was three to five weeks between first and last stitches and I don’t have any tunnels.
You’re best off ignoring people that say they all come out in the second week and you need to see a doctor if they haven’t, it’s just tosh.
I don’t really remember, I have a feeling they were black. Be aware that it’s the body’s reaction to the stitches that makes them dissolve and not simply water outside the body.
Hi, yeah go ahead and have a bath as long as your wounds are healed there should be no problem it might help with dissolving your stitches. if any of them are loose looking don't be afraid to remove them as long as you're wound is healed there should be no problem either you can also trim some of them if they are annoying you and getting caught in clothes. they are a pain I couldn't wait to get rid of them
Thank you so much! I have about 3 sticking out, but 2 of them are pretty soft. (I had one more but my surgeon pulled it out) One is quite hard and hurts a bit If i touch it. I might try to trim it down.
Yep no harm to trim down it's probably getting the most fiction. the one that your surgeon took out it probably has healed up well the scar heals much faster once they're out or have dissolved.
Take baths and use coconut oil that will allow dissolve on the stitch and the holes on your sausage (dick) from them will go so your dick will be fine so chill m8
Just snip the stitches and pull them off. They have been there long enough. Everything will heal way faster after and it won’t be itchy anymore.
I agree ré baths - it should be fine. I took baths at a similar stage after my second circumcision. If I remember rightly my stitches were black.
So I went to the hospital to get my stitches out. (It was a few days after I posted this question. Because on the right side of my penis it started to hurt and bumps appeared next to the stitched. Also they kept growing.) After they removed the stitches they stopped growing and after a week they disappeared.
Now, my scar is slowly disappearing on the left side, but on the right side it's still very visible. I hope it will disappear.
Also my scar is a bit sensitive but I think that's normal. Overall I am happy my penis works fine
Also under my glans on the left side it looks like I still have some swelling? It doesn't hurt or anything but It would look better without it.
And thank you for yours answers! They really helped me.
That’s good news, I’m happy for you. Your English is good and nothing to worry about. Do you know of many guys circumcised in Hungary or are you quite unique?
