Stitches after day 10 post circumcision

Hi All,

A small update. I think the healing is going fine so far. But I still have swollen skin under the glands.

I was hoping to see at least a few stitches fall out by this time, but unfortunately, none of them seem to change. The stitches outside the skin are fresh as hell. With night erections, they make me very uncomfortable and painful.

How long did it take for you guys? Has someone seen some changes in appearance by day 10? or at least one or 2 stitches started to fall off?

Hey Buddy,

There's no cause to worry. Day 10 is super early for you to be worried. On day 10, all my stitches were still very fresh and the night erections were still hell. My 1st stitches came out on Day 13 towards 14.

I had all the rest removed around day 16 because my healing cycle is pretty different (check my story on my timeline).

To start noticing a change, it might take anywhere between Day 15 and Day 21. I began to see a change around Day 16. Today is day 30 for me, I still have a swelling on the skin below my Glans, and the stitch marks are still visible. All this will gradually go with time.

It's a matter of patience. The entire healing process gets complete after about two (2) years where everything is completely smooth and looks like it's been like that for life.

It's all patience and around Day 16 plus, all pain should be gone. Keep him cleaned and give him as much air as possible, breathing space is also important.

Hey mate. At day 10 I haven’t seen many / any posts that the stitches have dissolved.

Im day 18, and apart from 1 stitch coming out when I took of the gauze, none of mine have come out on their own. From day 14 I’ve slowing been playing with them and removing 1 or 2 myself each day, to the point today I now only have 4 left from my original 15, I’m not suggesting you do the same - but I simply couldn’t cope any longer and by the time I’m at 21 days, I plan to have them all out.

The 4 that remain are all at the top, the size glans were first for me because of the pain and swelling. Night erections were not nice at all and to be honest even with 4 are not pleasurable - but not hurting if that makes sense.

I posted my journey early on, and will probably update the story and photos this weekend. I still use all the creams I mentioned although only a small amount. When all the stitches are out, think I’m going to move to just bio oil.

Thanks for your post. I am on a similar timeline as you as this is day 12 for me post surgery. I was hopeful that some stitches would fall out by now as they are very irritating when digging into me. Any luck with any of yours yet? After reading some other posts it seems like it can be around day 15-20 for them to start falling out

Hey 4everajamal , today is day 13 for me. I still have no luck yet. I will wait until this weekend and visit my doctor to check if all is fine. Wish you the best for a good recovery as well!
