i'm 7 weeks in and still have some swelling as i had an infection, my swelling started to go after around 4 weeks, it just takes time, keep it clean and give it time. mine looked awful especially during the infection, but its looking much better now.
hi thanks for the advice you have made me feel better I’ve been worrying, yeah two days ago before I started the tablets it looked awful day 3 on the tablets it still looks bad but nowhere near as bad as the other day, could you see the full penis head or was the swelling over like the mushroom it, I can’t see my stitches and can’t see my full penis head yet but could that be because of the swelling
i had a lot of swelling for the first 3/4 weeks, but after the antibiotics took effect day by day the swelling went down, ended up over like a random 3 days the swelling went down a lot but that was 2 weeks after the anti biotics finished. i was the same and worrying about it, i thought the antibiotics were not working but after swabs and a check up got the all clear and over the 2 weeks after things just seemed to get much better, in regards to seeing the head, it depends how tight the circumcision is ect to how high the swelling is, mine looked like a frog with its chin out haha with the back of the penis very swollen, i could see the head from the top, i wrapped mine semi tight after cleaning to help reduce the swelling during the day and left it open during the night. (i work a busy job on my feet all day in a hot room). hope that helps
yeah I’m the same suppose you just got to give it time, haha mine is swollen over the bottom bit of the head so I’m presuming once the swelling goes down the skin should drop below the head, the back is where it’s weeping and it looks a bit scabby but a hell of a lot better than 2 days ago, that’s for your advice I really appreciate it and it’s making me feel better, I go back Friday for a check after my 7 days antibiotics run out
I am 17 days out, and my stitches are all still attached. I doubt if your stitches have dissolved in a week. Call your surgeon. I am still somewhat swollen too.
