Hey there, I'm 27 and I had my circumcision done around 2.5 months ago. Overall, everything is good, stitches fell and healed properly, and I have already become used to its new appearance (I actually like it way better!).
The only thing is, when I have an erection, the line of stitches feels a little contracted or tight. It feels as if I had some sort of ring that slightly strangles that part of my penis and sometimes during erection it's annoying. When I masturbate, the lubricant helps a lot to get rid of the uncomfortable feeling, but I'd really like it to feel normal on its own. I've read some old posts about people who had something similar happen to them but they don't say if the tightness eventually went away, and I wanted to know if anyone has had it happen to them and knows if it goes away over time.
Of course, I'm using the relevant oils to help the skin stretch, and I have an appointment with my doctor in three weeks anyway, but it would give me some relief to know that I'm not alone in this.
Thank you!

Yes like many other guys I had tightness at the scar line which lasted for months. Coconut oil or E45 cream did help but sometimes I did feel that something was stopping me getting a full erection. I'm 4 years in now and things are back to normal but it took nearly a year. Saying that I'm a lot older than you so you should recover quicker. Hopefully your doctor's appointment will give you some reassurance
same boat here man, I’m at my 2 month mark. Had mine done with the skin glue method so it’s a little different but the scar line is definitely tighter than everywhere else, my surgeon said basically the same as the comment above but it takes a while for the skin to reach the same level or slackness of the rest of it. He told me to wait a year or so before I start worrying but I’ve read many men that were going through the same thing saw a significant difference after about a year. We just gotta hang in there and stay positive!
Correct. Nobody tells you till afterwards that the only way you'll be able to masturbate is with plenty of lube. Info from doctors tends to be a bit sketchy about aftercare
I can't recommend the benefits of masturbating with a condom and lube enough, it's my go-to to keep things getting too irritated and saves on a messy clean up too - plus you can get a bargain on a bulk of cheap johnnies if you just use them for masturbating and save the good ones for sexy times with someone else.
But, I do still feel that tightness from time-to-time and it's just as annoying at 3 months plus healed as it was at the start. It's all a waiting game - just interminable time. The good days far outweigh the tight days, however, and I've found using nothing at all - no oils, no creams - to be the times when I'm least irritated. Every time I cover myself with anything these days I feel irritated for a couple days down there. Trial and error persists.
Have to agree I always pick up a packet of the cheap Pasante ones for my own use which do the job for a quick handshake, but splash out on something better with a partner.
Makes sense to me too but the fact that I'm buying boxes and boxes of the cheap ones maybe tells you something about the state of my love life at the moment haha!
