Broken stitches and open wound after circumcision.

Day 3 after the operation some stitches burst and the wound opened (due to a night time erection). Dr said it’s normal and it happens will heal on its own. The open wound looks really open and disgusting. Looks yellow and like it will heal deformed. I’m really worried and I just want it to heal normally. Anyone else experienced such ?

I’m 4 months postOp and still in same position no yellow stuff forming but bit part of my incision just flaps away from each other lol we all heal different don’t get down about it fortunately I have a partner who doesn’t mind putting Frankensteins penis in her mouth 😂🙏🏻

Yes I experienced the same and my doctor re-stitched it back with a better stitch. Try asking your doctor if this is a possible way to help your wound recover and heal better - leaving it as it is might have some implications.

Did you have to get general anesthesia to get it restitched?

Just local anaesthesia.

Ask your doctor if they can apply skin glue. I’ve never used it before but I read online that it could be used with or without stitches for circumcisions…

Yes, that’s exactly what happened to me the day after the operation (due to the same reason lol). It was painful but it is completely normal and it will take some time to heal so no need to worry at all!

Same thing just happened to me on my day 18 2 stitches came loose but aslong as you put warm water and keep it non infected it should heal on it's own

I've just come of urology, because my stitches failed. They gave me antibiotics and swab pads and said keep it clean. Hiw did you do it exactly to stop the infection?
