15 days after surgery. Open wound since a few days.

I’ve been cleaning everyday since and it has improved a lot aesthetically.

Should I try to clean and close it with adhesive stitches ?

Whilst we cannot diagnore problems via the internet and you may need to see a doctor for his opinion, it does look as if your frenulum has had a part in pulling the wound open.

The frenulum appears to be very short and really ought to have been removed as part of the circumcision for a better cosmetic result.

After 15 days the cut edges will have sealed, so additional stitches will do no good unless more skin is also removed to provide raw edges to seal to one another.

I couldn’t agree more with you. The surgery was done due to short frenulum - it was supposed to be removed - and I came back home with a even shorter frenulum.

I think that’s why the stitches tore in the first place, due to the hight tension at only one point when getting erect

Hi. I had a gape around the side of my stitches. All be it not as big as that. I highly recommend some medical grade honey. My gape has come together now and you can’t tell it was there. You can dm me if you would like more info buddy

I’ve just DIrect messaged you.

You need to guard against infection. It will heal by secondary intention but you will always have the gap. Honey will not bring the ends together. In the light if your very short frenulum, the gap may have naturally taken away what could have been a problem. You should really get it checked out by a doctor. What has worked for one member may not help you.

That happened to me and it definitely left a space luckily it wasn't so big but my best advice is keeping it dry allowing it time to dry out and heal. But you should check in with the doctors because that might be too wide and it will take time to heal

Hi Longaman if I was you I would go back to doc it's better to safe than sorry good luck and take care
