I have just deleted an item posted about manscaping. This is not a penis health issue and the poster indicated no other penis health issues. . While I moderate the forum, all members have a corporate responsibility to ensure that such posts are reported and not to reply to them. I was quite shocked and saddened at the number of members who replied to the post rather than reporting it. Please can you help me and the forum owners to maintain the health focus of the forum.

Sorry about that didn't notice that the post was in the penis health section not the Men's Health Forum. Will have to pay more attention in future

Hi. No worries. I would not have been appropriate in the main forum either as it is a cosmetic and not a health issue. Probably more suited to Sensitive Issues for Men forum.

Yes you're right of course. I've got a bad habit of diving in headfirst and will talk about anything

I did the same thing. I do think that manscaping can have an effect on penis health, but also realise I dived in.

of course it could be considered it’s a mental health issue. I do think you’re quite miserable about what your usual response to penis issues are. I understand man scaping is often undertaken to make the penis stand out or look bigger. And that’s a mental health issue.

This penis health forum is not for mental health issues. That is why it is called “Penis Health”

Wanting to show your penis off to its best advantage is not always a mental health issue. Sometimes it is as simple as it is. There may be a very small number of men who would, on psych evaluation, have body dysmorphia. However the labelling of all men who manscape as having mental health problems would be the same as labelling all women who use lipstick as, equally, having a mental health problem.

Do you think that is truly the case?

I have an open attitude to penis health issues (often being the only person who responds) and I ensure that the forum remains focussed and that people adhere to its rules.
