Blood in Urine

For the last couple of days, my urine has been red so I’m assuming it’s blood. I’ve had on and off pains in my sides for the last few months but only recently have I noticed that my urine has blood in it. It also stings to urinate and once I have urinated, it feels like my urethra/tip of Penis is stinging. I’m going to the Doctor’s on Tuesday (if I can get an appointment). Anyone else had this? What came of it?

No, Ive had blood in urine but it was occasional, and checked out ok. Could be anything. Well done for going to the drs. It may be that the pains in your sides are a separate thing completely. Mention it ALL to the drs. Take some kind of record of what you saw/felt and how long etc if you can.

You're doing the right thing by going to speak to a doctor. I've had some red urine before after my circumcision, but only for a day - that was to be expected. Keep us posted.

sorry you are going through this, can I suggest without worrying you too much that you need to see your GP as a matter of urgency, it could be something and it may not be anything, maybe an infection but the GP will determine the next step, if you are in pain at the moment please call the NHS helpline or pop down to your local A&E. hope this helps and good luck, I am not a doctor.

I had a spell of blood in my urine and it was eventually diagnosed as a kidney tumour - benign but removed. You are right to be contacting your GP
