Circumcision Update - Day 11 Post Op.

I just thought I would give an update in the hope that it helps someone else, as I found myself freaking out a bit today. I am now on day 11 post operation. Since Day 8 I have had a watery discharge from the wound around the frenulum. I have been bathing in Salt and water. Today I noticed it had started to change colour. No smell, but a more yellow discharge, when before it was clear. I phoned my surgeon's secretary. I got an appointment to see him this evening. Swab has been taken and a course of antibiotics given as preventive. He said everything looks ok, but the swab results will confirm what is going on.

P.S. Some things I wasn't told, that I now know!

Firstly, they saved me before the operation. From day 3 to 5 I felt like there was a hedgehog in underwear

Secondly, urinating is 'fun'. It is like a sprinkler at start and end of flow. Inbetween it is fine!

Good luck with your recovery, well done for seeing your doctor as it's best to rule out any infection. There's always a small risk of that after surgery
