Just giving a little update! My healing has been going really well! I took out my stitches today which us why they might look a little raised or bumpy! (I only left three in: one on a little wound caused by a night erection which should heal very soon, and 2 stitches on my frenulum, just to be safe with that!) I am able to masturbate with no pain which is great! I also had sex on day 12 - with a condom of course - and there were no complications! My orgasms have been significantly more intense than before the op and my erections have been much stronger! Due to the tight ring under my head from phimosis restricting proper bloodflow isn't a thing anymore, my penis is also longer now, and my girlfriend says that it feels significantly bigger which is a massive bonus! This has naturally also been the reason my erections have been stronger!
I'm going to abstain from any masturbation or sex for the next 2 weeks or so in order to let the scar line without the stitches to heal a bit and become more comfortable! I've also put some coconut oil on the scar and I've bought some bio oil to assist in the healing and look of the scar!
Looking forward to the 6-8 week mark! I hope this is encouraging to anyone out there that needs it!

Thanks man! Healing was actually really breezy! Never had to take any painkillers, night erections weren't too bad and I took measures to prevent them as much as possible! My lichen sclerosus has been the worst part, but even that has gotten better! (Reason for circumcision). Really hasn't been bad at all! Was expecting way worse!
I have a question from what I have been reading. What is lichen sclerosis? I have never heard of it here in the states. Does it have a different name here, or is this just something common in GB?
It's a very rare disease - most commonly found in post-menopausal women, however, it can still occur in men. It's the same name everywhere - you've probably just never heard of it! I hadn't till I was diagnosed.
Hey, it is healing really well and looking really good. once the scar settles and gets smooth it will be even better the Bio-Oil will help with this. I would give it some time before you do too much with it in case it slow down the the progress you have already.
Thank you! Yeah, I'm not worried about the scar at all, it will all smooth out! I agree - I'm not going to madturbate or have sex for at least another 2 weeks!
If you are having complications and discomfort, I'd strongly recommend going through with it! I was VERY cynical and nervous about doing the op and fought it for a long time, but it's the best decision I've made for my body!
What a stunning beautiful circumcision you have. It looks like your frenulum delta was completely preserved without causing any detachment. Your glans is so healthy and moist looking. I really like how the shaft skin was preserved. The continuous nature of shaft skin followed by inner skin followed by your glans is a perfect example of how nice a circumcision can look. Why did you choose to get circumcised? Did you choose this style? Do you have any coverage while flaccid?
Thank you! Yeah, I asked the doc to preserver the frenulum and he did fortunately! I got circumcised due to Lichen sclerosus- a horrible, rate disease. I never chose the style as my doc said that he only does one style and it turned out to he low and loose! These pics are while flaccid, but I can upload another post while erect if people need to see what it looks like in that state!
What are those raised marks on your shaft? It almost looks like ingrown hair follicles. I think we all have them to a degree. Is it from shaving? How much inner skin was preserved? Is the rare disease that you had located at the ridge band? What kinds of symptoms did you experience?
Yeah, they've just always been there! Just hair follicles I guess! I do grow hair fairly high up my shaft, especially towards the underside of my penis. Compared to a 'high cut', I guess there wasn't a ton of inner skin preserved, but u am very happy with the amount left! The rare disease basically caused phimosis, thinning of the foreskin, painful red rashes, blistering etc. Therefore, I'd be in great discomfort regularly doing most things - especially sex and my foreskin would tear and bleed regularly. I could for the most part (depending on how it was at the time) retract my foreskin with quote some effort, letting it sit behind my glans. This, however was uncomfortable as the tight phimosis ring was then sitting very tightly just below my head and restricted full, natural blood flow, urination and ejaculation.
Thanks dude! I think it was a normal scalpel! And I talked about styles but he said he only did one... it turned out to be a low and loose style and I'm very happy with it!
Balanitis Xerotica Obliterans to be exact but most professionals now call it lichen sclerosus. I think it's more common than believed anyone with acquired phimosis that does not improve with creams should suspect it, some doctors might not know about the condition either and it can be undiagnosed or misdiagnosed for other conditions in some cases.
In your case it seems you are free of the LS now 👍
I've been to 2 GPs, 2 urologists and a dermatologist just to get accurately diagnosed! It's been a nightmare! The LS/BXO is just below the tip of the penis for me, I don't think it's clear in the image. I'm using steroid creams and am hoping that the skin will just grow over and cure the condition!
OK it's hard to see in your photo do you mean just below your meatus tip at your frenulum? It's Common to have it around your frenulum and the inner foreskin. Now that your glans are exposed it should clear up it's a good idea to use some steroid cream but only for a short time. It can be hard to diagnose especially without a biopsy did your surgeon send your foreskin for testing. Have you read through some of my post
Go have a look at the post I just posted- I post clear pics of the situation! I also explain everything I'm doing to care for it! How long would you say is a good time to use the steroid creams for ?
Congrats bro. Yeah after circumcision it gives a very intense orgasm compare to when I'm with a foreskin. I did it for cosmetic reason. Cheers mate.
Ideally I wanted a high cut but I'm more than happy with my low cut! I had it done by Dr Harden South Africa! Not sure if it was freehand, but I had stitches
Hi buddy. I am also debating a circumcision to cure LS, I have it mainly on my glans and I’m told that a circumcision will more than likely be curative for me. Now you’re 5 months down the line, have your symptoms of LS stopped as your glans has toughened up?
Wow that looks really good. I'm 4 weeks in and still have considerable swelling. My gland is not fully exposed. Do you think it's the swelling or not enough foreskin was removed.
Hi. I'm on my 4 week too and I have little to no swelling at all but the only problem being the frenulum. My question is what happened to the skin that is adhered to the shaft skin, did you separate it yourself/Doctor or did it separate on it's own?
May I ask when the swelling stop ? Thanks man for that message it give me hope I have been stress about this and thinking that I’m regretting of doing it but you give me hope
