I do not recommend Shang ring circumcision to anyone who wants a faster healing process, you should do the stitching method for circumcision if you want a faster healing process, Shang ring circumsion might take longer but it heals and attaches your skin back naturally, and it looks better because their is no scarring tissue, the skin forms a new layer to connect the wound, and the dead skin falls off and the wound seals

I got my Shang ring circumsion and they told me that there would be no pain at all and I Could go back to work the same day that was a lie after the anesthesia wore off the pain I felt was the worst pain I’ve felt in my whole entire life, I couldn’t walk properly, and I couldn’t lay in certain positions and the strongest prescribed pain killers didn’t help,

However the worst part of the pain went away after a few hours and then completely after a few days (2-4 days) and after that I could go back to work but I would recommend staying in bed for one week and not engaging in any physical activities, after the 10 days were overs I went to go get my Shang ring removed

During those 10 days however I had a few intentional erections during engaging in sexual acts by pleasing my partner (which I don’t advise cause this can stretch the skin and cause loose skin and your penis has to make an adjustment to the new over stretched skin which can take longer to heal) so after the 10 days my Shang Ring was removed and I had begun my wrapping process they told me 12 days after the ring was removed the wound will be fully healed which was also a lie it took me 6-8 weeks for the wound to fully seal, everyone’s body is different snd some peoples skin tissue repairs faster than others. Along this 8 week process I had a lot of Ups and down which I will be discussing with you now so that you don’t freak out or have a bad experience like I did,

Step one: shower and use water and fragrance free soap to clean the wound don’t directly apply the soap cause you don’t want to irritate the wound apply to surrounding areas and wash

Step two: cut a small piece of gauze and apply fucidin cream on to the gauze and wrap it around your penis where the wound is start from the tip of your penis , you will need a prescription for fucidin it is an antibiotic which isn’t sold over the counter (you can also use polysporin, my doctor also prescribed me flamazine, which is antibiotic cream used to prevent infection however the pharmacist at the pharmacy I was purchasing this cream from told me that if it Cause any severe side affects such as rash or itching discontinue use, when I started using it I had a very severe reaction to it and it caused a rash snd also a lot of itching on my scrotum and I discontinued use after that and went back to fucidin)

Step 3: use one feet of self adhesive bandage wrap on top of the gauze start from the tip snd wrap firm and apply a decent amount of pressure with each time you wrap it around ur penis make sure to not wrap it to tight cause you do not want to lose blood flow to your penis also don’t wrap it too loose cause u want it to have some sort of pressure snd benefit, also wrapping it lose can cause an infection or for it to create a bulge (lump), also make sure to try and change your bandage twice a day as the bacteria from ur urine or your clothing or your pre ejaculation can cause infection

I strongly advise not to engage in any sexual activity as this can open the wound and stretch out the skin snd cut snd make your penis have to readjust and take longer to heal and the pre ejaculation (pre cum) can cause infection which will take longer to heal

Step 4: wrap another 1 feet of self adhesive bandage wrap on top of the other bandage wrap for double protection and to make sure the wrap doesn’t come loose (this is a precautionary step but I highly advise it, it helped me a lot)

I had to wrap my penis everyday for 7-8 weeks but I was told by the doctor that I would only need to wrap it for 12 days so don’t stress out about the fact that your still having to wrap it snd the wound is not healing as I’ve stated early with the Shang ring process the healing takes longer and it varies depending on each individuals body type

SIDE AFFECTS, INFECTIONS, BULDGE (LUMP), SWELLING, IRRITATION, BUMP:

Now this is where it gets bad and where I started freaking out

As soon as the Shang ring came off 2-3 days later my penis had a huge bump on the bottom portion underneath the penis head where the frenulum connects To the skin, I did some research snd I came to realize that this was a common complication called preputial edema (paraphimosis) which happens after surgery when the Shang ring is removed in most cases, I started worrying a lot snd got really stressed out as there was a huge bulge underneath the head of my penis it looked like I had two penis heads LOL I thought that this bump would stay forever and not go away so I called my doctor and he told me not to worry and that it will go away I also read some articles telling me not to worry that the lump will go away after a few months, apparently there is nothing you can do

Medically or surgically to remove this and it swelling and the bump will just go away itself over time like I said before everyone body is different and it takes anywhere from 1-6 months to go away for me it took 2/3 months to go away but it also took 2 months for the wound to fully seal so as soon as the wound was sealed a month after that the bump was gone

But during those 8 weeks I had a really hard time wit this bump and also my cut got infected 2 times which caused the bump to increase in size and I had to take antibiotics so I recommend to stay in Contact with your doctor cause you don’t want your wound to get infected because of the bacteria from the urine or from the pre ejaculation which is why I advice not to partake in sexual activities or from not changing your bandage every 12 to 24 hours also wrapping my bandage too loose caused the bump to increase in size

The first time my wound got infected my doctor prescribed me an antibiotic called (SANDOZ-AMOXI-CLAV 875 & 125 MG AMOXICILLIN & CLAVULANIC ACID) which helped the bump and infection to completely go away, I was taking 1 tablet a day every 12 hours for 10

Days for a total of 20 tablets, however the wound was not fully sealed which causes it to get reinfected as soon as I finished the first dose of the antibiotics so the second time my wound got infected my doctor prescribed me another different type of antibiotic which was called (TEVA-CEPHALEXIN CEPHALEXIN 500 MG) I was taking 1 tablet four times a day for 7 days for a total of 28 tablets, this helped get rid of the bump and infection aswell

Tips for the bump and swelling:

1. Keep your penis in an upright position so the blood and swelling can go down

2. Try to apply ice to the bump after shower before wrapping ur penis

3. This step is the most important step and it worked wonders to reduce my bump which was recommended to me by the nurse, after you shower and apply the gauze make sure to wrap the bump really tight, for 15-20 mins so that the swelling and bump will go down then take off the bandage after the 15-20 mins and rewrap it for 12/24 hours before you change it again but don’t wrap it too tight or too loose, but for that 15-20 mins wrap it really tight snd hold it in an upright position and apply pressure to the bump through the wrap to push it down and make the swelling subside don’t apply to much pressure you don’t want to cause pain or worsen the wound

So don’t freak out if your wound gets infected cause the antibiotics will help and don’t freak out if your wound isn’t healing right away cause it will take some time and also don’t freak out if you have a bump anywhere around the ring of ur penis cause it will go away over time

Also after the wound was fully sealed it had ripped back open again after trying to masterbait or have sex 2-3 times cause the new skin around the penis was sensitive so I would recommend waiting atleast 1-2 weeks after the wound is fully healed to have sex or engage in any physical contact, also the way I used to masterbait before is different from the way I masterbait now I have to use a different technique and different hand grip so you have to play around and see what you like and what feels right and what feels good and I Also recommend to have oral sex before having sex or masterbaiting because the saliva has healing properties and it helps heal your penis and if you get it wet before You insert it in to vagina is better cause it might be too dry and hurt and cause you pain or rip again so I recommend using lubricant or moisturizer or oil just so it easier for you and so that your cut doesn’t open back up snd get infected which will take longer to heal

Masterbaiting feels the same when you get used to it, sex and oral sex feel the same when you get used to it, it just takes time

Overall the look of your penis is a lot better and cleaner

You also don’t have to pull your skin back to urinate and it won’t go all over the place you can just aim it Straight

Thanks for the summary.Im reading this right after 3weeks of ring off, the swollen part quite disturbing me too…my wounded area is almost healed, just the yellowish fluids need to be cleaned 1-2 times a day. Totally agreed what you said , I did similar research and this method has the longest healing process, no doubt that the result is better than others ,but the process totally not worth for any adult to try.Because we have to hold our sex desire for long period and the pain driving me crazy when I wearing it. I back on 7th day to ask doctor to off the ring manually because I can’t sleep everyday. I tried DIY on 7th day of ring off and 18th day of ring off just to unleash my overloaded desire. Luckily no infection by far,maybe because I was naked since first day of ring off and tried my best to exposed penis at home as possible.

I am 10 days post Shang Ring with removal set for tomorrow. I’m in Houston Texas and mines was done by Dr. Williams at the Y-Factor. This ring has been very uncomfortable and painful. I’m nervous what to expect but I’m an optimist as well. My erections are every 5 seconds because I have a beautiful woman at home who turns me on ALL the time lol . I don’t know what to expect when it comes off but I can tell you that my sensitivity is crazy. If I look at it wrong, it hurts. If I also noticed if I don’t take the pain medicine, I have an urge to urinate. I was told to use neosporin or an off brand of neosporin to rub on ring daily but it burned so bad.
