Am i supposed to pull the skin back to cover up the glans after cleaning or i can just leave it hanging like in the pic (i couldn't pull back because of the swelling btw) ? And what are those red spots the glans

After circumcision the glans would normally be uncovered as the foreskin has been removed. The red spots look like the effects of trauma during the operation. If you have worries, see a doctor.

Thanks u! I was afraid that i have to pull it back to cover the glans. I couldn't do that cuz the swelling and it's painful tho

I think i got an infection or something because there is pus coming from those red spots

I dont really feel pain tho . it just stung a little bit when i clean it and it's also itchy.

I wish it was a sign of healing but i really doubted that😂. Anyway i just visited my doctor and he gave me some cephalexin i hope it's gonna be ok after i take that tho

Is it possible the red spots are caused by skin reaction to sticky plaster used for wound dressing, antiseptic or soap perhaps?

I dont really know for sure but the red spots appeared when i used ointment neosporin and now it produce some kind of white pus . it's very sticky whenever i warp my penis with gauze now

Since the whole purpose of circumcision is to remove the foreskin and leave the glans permanently exposed, you should not be trying to pull the remnant of foreskin up onto the glans but back, away from it, to avoid any possibiity of unwanted adhesions or skin bridges.

Omg i didn't even know that 😂. I thought that i have to pull the skin back to cover the glans. No wonder it's very hard to do that and i thought that the glans only exposes when i horny lol

Looks like it’s healing nicely. If anything, keep pushing the skin BACK away from the head. You want it totally exposed all the time.

Yeah! atleast i didn't get any infection on the incision so far. However the doctor told me that those redness on the glans were caused by the ointment that im using. He also gave me some antibiotics so i guess i will be fine!

It’s normal to worry about your healing. We’ve all been through it! The result is worth it.

Make certain that you keep the raw edges of your circumcision pulled back away from your glans so that adhesions and/or skin bridges do not form.

Hi tvad as StaceTW90 as as said wash with salt water dry off and be gentle I used a air dryer then put coconut oil on very good for your skin and when your ready not yet good for wanking and sex / massage if you live in UK you can get it from home bargains quality save or any supermarket do this at least 2 times a day I am fully recovered and still use it very good stuff and you don't after cover your glans there'd spots are probably trauma but if you are in any doubt go see the doc good luck and take care
