Is having a dry glans ok???

4 months in post circumcision my glans is still very sensitive, especially when I’m fresh out of the shower or when I apply oil/vaseline. On the other hand I’ve noticed when the glans is extremely dry it’s a lot less sensitive.

Everyone on here suggests to apply things like vaseline, coconut oil, bio oil, etc. but the more moisturized the head of my penis is the more sensitive it feels. SO my question is, is it ok for me to leave my glans dry? Other than it looking ugly and scale-like can this affect my skin in any way? Will this help me get over the extreme sensitivity faster?

I dont see any problem with keeping the head dry. Just know that once its been dry for a bit it may peel m/ flake which is part of the process

My doctor saw my glans dry and look at me like just rob bank. To me feels better with Vaseline but might just want to ask doctor make sure ok
