This is the exact way my husband feels. I would love any insight anyone gives it’s affecting our sex life quite drastically cuz he feels like he’s gonna tear or something

In my brain i feel like u do have to stretch the nerve endings like sort of like a penis pump type of way to get back to jormal but thats just my thoughts. Im barely gonna be 6 weeks in tomm and i cant perform at 💯 yet im sad and hoping i will soo

He can perform he just says he feels scared to go hard, like he thinks it’s gonna tear or something. Length is also definitely gone and he has had a majorly tough time trying to cope with that.

I can understand where he is coming from. I was the same for months and I did actually open up the cut area once. It is important to use lube for both intercourse and masturbation. Also a condom will help protect the area for both activities even if it is something you wouldn't normally do. As to the length that will come back in time but the more he uses it the better to help stretch out

Hope your husband is okay. How recently was the op done?

Hey bro, hope you're okay. Erectiona can feel weaker and the whole area felt tight for a while after the operation. I remember mine definitely were for 6-8 weeks. Sometimes it's your mind getting in the way and worrying about hurting yourself. I found massaging myself with coconut oil helped to get things going - but do a patch test on your forearm for 48 hours before to check you're okay with the oil. If the issue persists do go and see your doctor. We all heal at different rates, so try not to panic. Reach out here or message me if you want to vent.

Don't mention it, mate. We're all here and a lot have been through the same.

How far along are u since the surgery?

Arclight1979 profile image

I'm about 3.5 months (nearly 15 weeks) since the operation. First weeks were the hardest, but since then it's been a steady healing process. Tough at times, but progress has been fine.

ok did u get back to normal in length size like before?

Arclight1979 profile image
Arclight1979 in reply toAbe84

Yeah, and maybe slightly bigger. My bellend is definitely bigger, and is starting to flare out at the rim just a little bit too. Shaft feels a little thicker, but that could just be some residual swelling.

So u are feeling this way at 15 weeks?

Arclight1979 profile image
Arclight1979

Aside from a bit of residual swelling, I feel fine with strong erections and a possible increase in size.

I'm 40 years old. Nearly 41 in July. Decided to take the plunge and have the op I've needed most of my life.

It's not for me to say whether you made a mistake. I reckon in a few weeks you'll see some improvements - it's just a waiting game. For some of us it's longer than others.

I thought my progress was slow in the beginning but a few more weeks and you should see a big difference. Like Arclight above it is tough sometimes but the end result is worth it
