Hi. I'm 21 year-old male. Got circumcised 10 months ago. After the circumcision my glans (penis head) has been dry causing peeling and skin flakes. It does not hurt. I don't have any other symptoms. Has anyone who has been circumcised recently experienced dry skin over the glans? It is less visible and wrinkly when erected as the skin gets stretched I guess. It is more visible when the penis is not erected. I hope it is not skin cancer.

Does it help when you use it?
yes, it has short-term effect. I have done little research and came across circumcised men having similar concerns. the thing is that when the penis is erected you can't really say it's dry. It becomes more visible when relaxed.
I am pretty sure it is keratinization. The glans does form a “ layer” of skin over a circumcised adult as it does for those done at any age. It is normal, You will be fine. Some may disagree but I was glad to have it done. I needed it medically-plain & simple.
It's a normal process called keratinization. The glans is meant to be protect3

If there was any discharge or smell, you should see the doctor.
How are things now? I had mine done a week ago and noticing dryness, which I think is just because the glans is now exposed to the external environment so will dry out but also the process of permanent changes, ie keratinisation...
