I had a circumcision operation 7 months ago and the head of the penis is still sore & numb in places. I do not feel anything when I climax, all sensation has mor or less gone. It’s starting to get me paranoid & anxious now when I have sex. Is this normal, will the sensation come back. I’ve been back to see the surgeon who has just gave me cream to use for a couple of months, I’m not sure what this will do 🤷🏻♂️

While the sensation from the glans of your penis you would expect to be lessened - one of the effects of the op that some guys think is a good thing as it takes them longer to reach orgasm. Strangely, a number of women have no desire to be pounded for hours!!!
The lack of orgasmic feeling is a different matter as that is generally to do with the signals from your brain. It can be caused by damage or taking particular classes of drugs called SSRIs. I wonder whether a consultation with a neurologist might be helpful.
Thank you for your reply. How do you think a neurologist could help? I am willing to try anything but I’ve never taken drugs,I don’t even take pain killers so I know it’s nothing I’ve done.I have no problem climaxing but I I just don’t feel it.
Thanks, that makes sense. I didn’t realise a neurologist covered all nerves of the body, I’ve been referred to a consultant urologist by the surgeon who done my op
