Still swollen and not much room to expand after circumcision

Hi all. I had a circumcision 4 weeks ago and it developed an infection. Long story short been on antibiotics for 3 weeks and it’s seems to all be better apart from a small amount of yellow (not smelly) discharge which I believe is part of the normal healing process.

There is still some swelling and I can’t actually see where the cut was made. I’m assuming this is normal until the swelling goes down and then the skin will free up and the cut will be clearer. Did anyone else have this?

Also, because of the slight swelling when I get an erection the pubic skin and my sack are being pulled up the penis which makes it look smaller but also scares me that too much force during sex will rip the cut. I don’t actually know if it is healed or not which is concerning me but from what I can see it looks quite red and fleshy so probably not.

Any advice/stories or reassurance would be welcomed because it’s all that’s on my mind. I’m a grower not a shower and seen horror stories about this type of thing. I can put pics on if you think it will help.

Hi Man, sorry to hear you've got an infection that will slow things down for you no doubt. it sounds like you have been cut quite tightly. your swelling can take sometime to go down if you use some wetted ice cubes and massage that should help with it. the scarring can make everything feel tight eventually your skin will stretch but it can take up to a year for everything to feel normal again. if you are healed enough you shouldn't worry about having sex it shouldn't burst your scar. Photos do help a lot.

Hi. you are healing fine your infection would have slower things for you. but everything looks good you do have some swelling which will take time to reduce. I think you do have a low and tight cut which will look great when everything is healed. I wouldn't do any workouts for a little while longer you still have some slower areas that have not healed completely yet. I think your frenulum is still intact as well. Hang in there it will be all worth it.
