6 months after circumcision swelling still present

I had my circumcision 6 months ago and the swelling has not yet gone down. when i press against it i often feel some small amount of pain. i don't know what to do because i have seen people completely heal in under 4 weeks but mine has lasted for 6 months and seems to not go down. please i need some advice

I would check back with my doc if I were you but would like to say that there are people who have had to wait for a year or so for the swelling to completely reside. So don't give up hope and definitely check in with your doc Abt whether you might need any supplements or medications to help aid in the swelling reduction . All the best !

Vigorous activities might actually slow the healing so I would say that in my opinion it might help if you don't use too much force when you want to pleasure yourself. Also warm water baths may increase the blood flow to the region and aid in the process of healing . Also if I were you , I would ask my doc if I should be taking any vitamin supplements or medications to help with the healing.All the best !

A little over 5 weeks. I went to doctor last week he said it will heal over time but he didn’t seem concerned. I just see other pictures and by 4 weeks it looks really well compared to mine.

I have seen others who say that theirs took over a year to completely heal. Maybe we just have to wait and see. I also saw a doctor and he didn't seem concerned either. He told me that if its swollen then its still healing on the inside and i just have to be patient. I know it will be difficult to wait that long but there is nothing i can do

I dont have any discomfort or pain during sex but after sex my penis swells a bit and hurts a little. But after a few hours it goes back to normal

I had circumcision on October 21st, 2020. The surgery was very poorly done! I had a lot of swelling, which never went down! I had a lot of lumps that looked like balls! It was looking very ugly, and my frenulum also started hurting when I had an erection. After almost 2 years, I was really concerned about my ugly d*ck, which had a lot of swelling, scars, and lumps. So, I decided to have a re-surgery and fix everything. On July 22nd, 2022, I had my surgery, and now it's 1 week post-circumcision, I'm feeling a lot better than I did after the first surgery! After the surgery that I had in 2020, I was not even able to walk even after 1 month, but this time, just the day after surgery, I didn't even feel like I had surgery! I'm very happy that I had surgery again, and now I'm feeling a lot better!

I was in the same situation. It was caused by subcutaneous continuous sutures. Ask your doctor if he used any.

Hey buddy, I am undergoing the same situation since september. My advice is avoid completely masturbation (and sex, of course) and massage the scar with oil (with your fingers making circles). If you have erections it's okay but avoid having powerful ones. The lymph which causes the inflammations needs to go back to the main circulatory system through the scar. And also, everybody has a different body so be patient! For me it's being too long but I know by making this effort it will be worth in the future
