I feel really alone. I have no support or any friends. I've been trying to switch from an antidepressant to a mood stabilizer and it's been really really hard. I've been struggling a lot

Feeling very alone

Sorry to hear. Medication issues can be frustrating. Lots of experience in that department. Mood stabilizers can be great for some a disappointment for others. Find support where you can. Which med are you switching to?
Lamictal I think. I'm on nortriptyline now I've tried at least 5 other antidepressants none have really helped out and thank you. Yeah it's hard I just have no support at all no friends. I just hate going through it alone especially with family problems as well
I’m so sorry for what you are experiencing and at such a young age. Is there a trusted advisor you work closely with or a trusted therapist? If you’re in school/college, I remember being in college and there was a free counseling center for students (though I’m not sure if this varies by state) and it was about 10 yrs ago. I hope you find the peace you need soon🙏🏽if I were to go back to my younger self going thru this, try to take care of yourself physically as much as possible if you can. Stay hydrated, eat healthy fruits n veggies, exercise and get moving!( I learned only in my later adults years it helps with mental health) good luck🤞🏽it’s hard without support, I’ve had lots of lonely seasons too🥺it can be difficult to find people to trust with something this personal, but taking care of your body will greatly help you cope better🙏🏽physical self care would have saved me from a lot of health issues I have now being older!
friend please let me knock w if the mood stabilizer works.
Keep going and take care of yourself. Lots of healthy food and go for walks outside as much as possible, it can help. Praying for you 🙏
Can you find some type of support group?
