In a leisurely 20 minutes, including some jogging on the spot while waiting for my son to catch up on his skateboard (on the uphill bit).

A bit more uphill this time, my knee held up, but my calves got really tight and I can tell spring is in the air cos the pollen was getting to me

I have a nice picture of the sun going down, but for some reason I can't load it, so you'll have to imagine a nice sunset

A slow comeback, but a comeback just the same. I will get back up to 18k again and on to my HM in September!! 5 months to go!

Thanks CCM, I'm just posting here to keep myself honest - just pushing a bit more each time

You will get back! Take care on the way, and all will be fine. Remember it's not just your knee that's been out of action - everything else will have seized up just a little bit too. Stretching and conditioning is ultra important during a comeback. Look after those calves so they don't become an injury-in-waiting 🙂

I am stretching, promise!! I had problems with my calves even before my injury - they seem to seize up fast and it takes a lot to get them lose during a run, which sucks, but I still do my heel raises while I cook and brush my teeth :D

Fair enough 😍. Mine are always tight too ... but I''m still rather lax about stretching; if only I practised what I preach!

Sounds good 👍

Every run you do is a step closer to your goal 🙂

Thanks, that's the way I'm looking at it - even though I can't run where I want and when I want because of the current world conditions, I am *trying* to keep a long term view and stay set on my goal.
