So, this weekend, I was supposed to do a short run to see how my knee held up, but yesterday trains were cancelled and I had a two hour walk (1 hour there and one hour back) to the vets for the dogs vaccinations - the walk was pretty flat, so I tried it without my knee support to see how it went.
My knee held out well BUT this mornings lawn mowing for an hour seems to have been not such a good idea, lol. I am in a bit of pain now.
Still, 10k steps and a bit of strength training with the lawn mower is a decent start.
Working from home looks like it will be on the cards for at least a few days this week, so I will have a slow trot one day this week *fingers crossed*

Don't feel the need to hurry. Take as long as necessary - it will shorten your overall recovery time. It seems bleak in the moment, but once you're successfully through it it will have been worth the wait π
I am trying not to hurry - I had planned a short run this weekend, but decided against it as I was in pain. Part of me thought that as I was already in pain, I could still run cos it would hurt anyway but I was a good girl and rested it up this afternoon.
It definitely helped me when I was in recovery. The constant argument in my head - shall I/shan't I? And then I'd remember some person or another who'd said don't take any chances, a slightly longer wait will be worth it ... and the scales would tip, the chatter in my head would stop for a while π€£
