Cataract

Hi I didn't think that I would be back so soon with another worry. When I went for my injection last week the consultant mentioned my cataract, and that it should be dealt with, I thought this would be in the future sometime, however I had a call today from the hospital to say that an appointment has been made for a Pre something or other, for the cataract removal, I'm really worried about this, I know they are a common thing, but I wasn't mentally prepared with it happening so soon, I was under the impression that you couldn't have this done if you were still having injections, I maybe very lucky and get away with just the one that I had and be stable again. Also, I wear varifocals so how will this affect my seeing out of the lens that was prescribed for my sight as it is now. I can feel a sleepless night looming.
