Lupus and Cold

I managed to get a nasty cold that started yesterday with sneezing and runny nose. But this morning I woke up with such a dizzy head - like room spinning dizzy. I never had this before, is this normal when one adds lupus to cold? I'm fine when I don't move much but otherwise I can't seem to focus.

I have this dreaded cold that's doing the rounds. It's hit me hard. I'm very dizzy too. Do what I'm doing..... Stay in bed.. Xx

I am now, and taking Lemsip. I'm supposed to go abroad on hols this week end, I need to get better quickly. But you know that saying 'man makes plans and God laughs'.

I had the same thing last week, was horrible. Went to the doctor who said the cold had caused an ear infection. It's rubbish, as I had to take 4 days off work and it's not even winter yet :-(. Hope you feel better soon xx

Feel better with the cold but the lupus is acting up, so chest pains and abdominal pains are back. The ear suggestion makes sense, I'm glad there is a reason, rather than just 'well, is lupus'. Thank you for sharing and hope you're recovering soon x

There a nasty bug doing the rounds which takes the form of a cold, but which also goes for the muscles especially the back.
