toes !!!!! ouch !!!!

Woke up this morning and two toes on my foot really hurt and stiff !!!!! It reminds me of about 2 yrs ago , when for no apparent reason my foot was so bad i couldnt hardly walk , again just woke up like it ! and by the afternoon it was ok !!!!!! weird ! any thoughts !!!!???

i have to say when i walk my dog on a long walk i always end up with stiff toes and sometimes i can feel them stiffen up during my walks, usually my big toe, but its not too painful and after a little rest they feel better i just make sure i wear good comfy boots and socks to keep toes warm.

im sure its all part of arthritis but i do believe the more active we are the less stiff we will be.

OMG - I thought I was just weird.... Had kidney transplant May 2011 due to Lupus and thought those symptoms where from that! Do you get severe pins and needle too? Does it keep you awake at night? Mine causes numbness across 4 toes in right foot and 3 in lsft. Am now not able to drive as have no control over accelerator and changing gears is a nightmare. The pain then travels up through my feet to my lges, knees and groins. It feels like I am being stabbed. Walking and standing became such an issue, had to give up job and find a sitting down one. Hi All ...I get very bad cramp in my feet and toes,and the pain is agony,i have learned when i feel it coming on to try and press my feet against ssomething.The worse time is when i am in bed, I have also noticed this is worse when my feet are cold,so use a hot water bottle at night.Margo

Mandy, it progressed to pins and needles and numbness , then i got a bit freaked out when walking upstairs cause it was like my left leg had a mind of its own ! was trying to walk as you do and realised that my leg didnt move !!!! so had to hold on to bannisters and really concentrate to move it !!!!!!!!!!! what was that all about !!!!???? thats even weirder !

befof i started on my medication i would get bad pain in my feet and toes ,i used to struggle to walk in the mornings to ,as the day went on it would ease of abit ,but it was hell first thing ,hope the pain disapears again soon hun

My toes on my right foot ache at some point every day, and sometimes for all day, doesn't seem to matter if feet are warm or cold, or weather standing sitting or laying down, It's only when thye ache or hurt more than usual I realise they are still aching, And Thought it was only me !

My third toe on my left foot foes it all the time... it twitches and goes so stiff and hurts like hell! I figured out that it comes from the left side, mid-foot. Can't leave it, hurts like hell. Can't walk on it, hurts like hell. Yet if I walk a little it goes away .. still feels like it's threatening to pop out but it's annoying as heck !
