Hi Bev, funny you should say that as my feet have been freezing this week since the temperature has dropped but the toes on my right foot have been burning hot at the same time, it's a weird sensation, I do have raynauds in both hands and feet and during the hot weather they went the complete opposite and were burning especially at night, it's horrible. What with the horrible hot flushes too my thermostat seems to be completely way off 😩!

I seem to constantly be going between ice packs, cold flannels and hot water bottles....summer and winter !

Are you still on holiday, just wondered if its hot there, might it be the temperature affecting your foot?

Hope everything else is going well for you.

Hi Diane

Weird is right, mine don't feel hot to touch but feel like they are burning inside, a bit like when the ball of your feet burn after wearing heels for too long. It started last week before I came. I bet you don't know what to do for the best for yours, alternating between the two.

Yes we arrived on Monday. It was 28 degrees Tuesday, 26 yesterday, today it rained early on, it was 21 this afternoon.

All is going well, so far no flare. No joint pain, stiffness, aching, weakness, fatigue and surprisingly no red face, hydroxy must be working well now. I have tried to keep in the shade during the hottest part of the day, as usual, but have been walking in the sun in the mornings with so far no problems.

Have you managed to increase your hydroxy yet and are you feeling any better in yourself?

Love

I'm so pleased Bev that you're getting good results so far, it sounds like the Hydroxy is working well for you, sorry about the toes though and hope that settles soon, the first time I experienced the burning feet was about twenty years ago on holiday in Spain, I didn't know what to do with them!

I've changed my Hydroxy brand to Quinoric, I'm not feeling any better yet but it's not making me as drowsy during the day as the other brands were, I am sleeping better on it too but I'm just sticking with half a tablet for a while before I increase it.

Fingers crossed everything stays good for you.

Enjoy

Thank you, yes it seems to be.

I am so pleased that you are feeling that it is at least helping with some things for you. Let's hope the more you are on it the better it will be for you, it is just a wait and see game. To be fair, I think that people that suffer with these problems, would take anything,if they thought it would help, I know I would. Anything just to feel normal.

I have never had any reactions to any meds except for the headaches and sickly feeling when I first started hydroxy, I have been very lucky in that respect. They have worked really well for me.

I have fingers crossed for you xxx

Yes I've tried many things Bev conventional, traditional, complimentary etc etc I've spent a lot of money over the years which would've been better spent putting it into the mortgage account!

The thing is you always think 'this maybe the one thing that really will help' so you try it.

Like you say it's a wait and see game, trial and error. We live in hope 🙃

Enjoy your time away, I hope you're finding it nice and relaxing.

Love and hugs 🌺🌸xxx

Is it remotely possible it could be chilblains? Sounds odd if you are in Spain but possibly if your feet get cold overnight? Mine burn like that with raynauds as they warm up or from chilblains even if I don't realise they have got that cold. Hope you find a solution soon

Thank you for the reply, I am unsure what it is, it comes and goes, just thought it may be part of what goes on with these conditions. I will mention it to the rhumy next time I see him, to see if he knows????
