Record breaking cuties

Hello everyoneJust thought i'd pop in to show you these cute record -breaking lambs that were born on a farm in the Westcountry not far from where i live.

They're quintuplet lambs born to the same mother which is a one in a million chance. They're being bottle fed and doing well.

This time of the year is lovely seeing Spring signs in our gardens and new

arrivals isn't it?

Hope your all doing as well as you can and will enjoy this Special Bank Holiday.

MistyX

P.s. Progress at last!. I've got a date for seeing the gastro surgeon on 19/6 and hopefully better treatment while i wait. 40mg twice a day of Esomeprazole and cimetidine if needed. Has anyone taken these?.

I've also got a date for my adrenal test on 18/5. Not long at all.

Thank you all for your unwavering support. I do so appreciate it. Will update with results. Xx

Thank you so much cecily for your lovely mesdage and good wishes. I really do appreciate your support. I wish i could turn the appt's round and the 18th /5 was for the gastric surgeon. I'm in so much pain that june seems so far away!!. I did think of you actually cos i had a letter from the surgeon saying my latest MRCP test was normal , no gallstones and he'd see me in Aug/Sept!!. Well i wrote to him saying how i was struggling and he agreed to bring it forward!!. It was my last chance!!. I know you went thru this and its like being stuck in a perpetual nightmare isnt it?. . I hope you are feeling a lot better since we last chatted and you hear from Urology soon. Xx🐏💕🐏🤞🐏💕🐏🙏🐏💕🐏🤞🐏💕🐏🙏💐🌻

Honestly it beggars belief. I am glad he agreed to bring your appointment forward at least. You might not believe this but after waiting since 20 th February to hear from Uro- Gynae I rang and found out the GP had not even done the referral 🤯. I challenged her and she lied and said she hadn’t agreed to refer me at all. Neil was with me he heard her say I needed to be seen asap!! She got very defensive and said I will write a few lines ok and then she put the phone down on me. I will check next week to see if she has done the referral or I will have to make a formal complaint. It is just too much on top of everything else isn’t it? Thank you too for your kindness xxx

misty14 in reply to CecilyParsley

Oh cecily, thats apalling although part of that my dad has just been thru.!!. He's got 2 big areas of possible skin cancer so he was being referred to Dermatology. Nothing happened and Dad chased it to find out the gp hadn't sent it to them. She took full responsibility and even rang Dermy to say it was her fault. Your gp sadly is a whole other story as she shouldnt have lied etc. 🤞she has done the referral cecily and you don't have to go thru the stress of a formal complaint. Its not right, costing you valuable waiting time. Will keep my 🤞for you. Xx💕🐏💕

CecilyParsley in reply to misty14

Thank you so much. I am so pleased your Dad’s GP was so honest and acted swiftly for him. We are all human, Doctors are under such pressure it is no wonder mistakes are made but to say I got it wrong and that she never agreed to refer me is just disgusting. . I hope to goodness she has now done it so that I can get the urgent advice and treatment I need. Xxx

misty14 in reply to CecilyParsley

Thank goodness cecily you take Neil with you as a witness as it really is disgusting that, that gp lied and didnt refer you. I just hope she has now!. Have you had the courage to find out today?. Keeping 🤞for you. Xx🐏💕🐏🤞

CecilyParsley in reply to misty14

No I am struggling to sleep at the moment and Neil has hurt his knee so I am putting it off. Silly I know but I am likely to be tearful and I just want to be prepared to have to make a complaint. Hopefully I will find out soon. Thank you for caring lovely. I will let you know xxx

Love the picture misty, i love seeing the new lambs running and leaping round the fields. My husband’s uncle was a hill farmer and he used to help him in the summer, they had great times !!

So glad things are progressing with your appointments . I don’t take either of these medications, i hope they make a difference and that you have less pain .

I hope you have a lovely bank holiday, our weather forecast has improved, thank goodness so hopefully will get out for a walk again. Im meeting a friend for coffee in the afternoon for a chat, looking forward to that , too much male company in our house 🤣🤣.

Thank you weathervane for your lovely mesdage. I thought you'd like all the ewe's, what a clever mummy!!. I hope you enjoyed the coronation. It was wet here to start with and then as the service progressed the sun came out which i thought was very symbolic.

I've bought some esomeprazole and its making a good differencd to my indigestion symptoms. Not so my biliary pain, its really bad suddenly as i had the covid jab a few days ago. June 19th still feels a long way off with this pain!!!.

Hope you get your appt's soon. We're always waiting for something aren't we?.

Enjoy seeing your friend for a catch up and a laugh. So important!!. My nurse friend wanted to take me out for coffee but we chatted on phone instead yesterday which was lovely.

Enjoy the rest of the bank holiday. Xx🐏💕🐏🤞🐏💕🐏🙏🐏💕🐏🤞🐏💕🐏

what a wonderful post! Wonderful picture and wonderful news about your appointment. I am to be seeing the respiratory consultant the day after you see the gastro surgeon. Have to attend the respiratory clinic for breathing tests on 15th this month. It has been such a long wait hasn’t it? I hope that everything goes well for you when you attend the appointments. I hope we bring each other luck next month. Good luck for your tests soon too, just hope they lead to some treatment for you. 🤞

I would have had to wait till Aug/Sept so i wrote to the consultant and told him how much i was suffering and he agreed to bring the date forward!!.

Thanks striated for your good wishes. I'm in such a lot of biliary pain after having my covid jab that i'm spending it on the sofa or my bed as its the only comfy place for me and my heat pad. June 19th can't come soon enough sadly!. I do hope your making progress with your health and you and your mum enjoyed the Coronation. Xx🐏💕🐏

StriatedCaracara profile image
StriatedCaracara in reply to misty14

Hi Misty, do you think the biliary pain is caused directly by something in the covid jab, or do you think it is part of a flair caused by the covid jab that has made things worse?

I had bad reaction to Gadolinium, used in an MRI, for the last few months. The first few weeks were odd symptoms never had before, then also a flair of existing problems and then issue with arm of hand that was injected - came from nowhere.

I sent carefully bulleted feedback to PALS, after completing a yellow card submission. PALS though have forwarded to 'Complaints' without me asking. Guess they saw it as too complicated. (Lots of forwarding on going on nowadays).

Now heard the 'MRI superintendent' is going to phone me to discuss 'my concerns'.

Not what I intended to happen as it was feedback, not a compliant..and feeling a bit, well very scared.

Short course prednisolone helped a lot and now increasing HCQ. Find it hard understanding what is happening sometimes. Things were going relatively ok just before, apart from headaches.

My Mum and me had some special cakes and chocolates yesterday. What have you been up to this Coronation weekend? Take care. Lots of prayers 🌸💮🏵️🌺🌻🌼🌷🙏💐

misty14 profile image
misty14 in reply to StriatedCaracara

So sorry Striated you had a reaction to Gadolinium used in a recent MRI scan!!. Worrying thing to happen but its good the hospital wants to talk to you about it and maybe learn from it. I hope the scan was worth it and it found what was causing your problems. 🤞for you.My biliary pain has been made worse by the covid jab as i've been suffering from it for 15 months now!!. Its definitely got to be an auto-immune condition causing it as otherwise the jab wouldnt affect it!!. June 19th seems such a long way off still for my appt. The surgeon is only doing one clinic in May!!. Its shocking and no wonder there are so many delays.

Glad you and your mum enjoyed the coronation wiith some lovely cakes. We didnt do much but enjoyed what we saw on TV. History being made!!.

Good luck with your appt and i hope its settling better now. Take care. Xx🐏💕🐏🤞🐏💕🐏🙏💕

sorry to read about your biliary pain, it’s one or worst pains in my humble opinion. Heat pads, hot water bottle, hot bath, and lower back massage are a distraction, or a massage pad for your back, Ive also read that TNS can help relax you a bit x

Afternoon Misty. I have been taking esomeprazole for quite a few years now. I was initially taking lansoprazole twice daily for a few years. I have also taken cimetidine. It was then decided that the slow release esomeprazole was a better option once daily. I have just been diagnosed with osteoporosis and discovered that proton pump inhibitors which includes lansoprazole and esomeprazole probably won't have helped with the condition of my bones. I cannot start on the meds for the osteoporosis as I am waiting for the removal of my wisdom teeth as they lie horizontal and are now causing issues!! If I start the meds it could cause narcosis which can cause the jaw to die and disintegrate!!! My husband is on the lookout for a glue factory!!!!🥴🥴😱😱. It's a good job that we can laugh about these things. You take one med that causes something else, then you get another and another and on you go !!

I don't think I have helped you much 😕

Have a good weekend 😊

misty14 profile image
misty14 in reply to littleeed

Thank you littleed for your very helpful reply. I didnt know that esomeprazole was slow release!. I've just started taking it and already its better for my symptoms than omeprazole and no wonder!. I too have been diagnosed with osteoporosis and been worrying about my bones so i do feel for you having to go thru wisdom teeth removal before you can have your treatment. It never rains but pours with us and as you say one drug leads to another and quickly we're on several!!. Will you be taking the once a week pill bone treatment or the infusion of Zolendronate?. Its such a worry for us too juggling risks versus benefits so i really hope it all works out for you. Hope you don't have to wait long to have your wisdom teeth out. Best wishesXx🤞🐏💐💕🙏🤞

Aren’t they adorable, how amazing to have so many from one mum?! We saw baby lambs and Pygmy baby goats in a barn yesterday all with their mums, they were super cute too! 😍🥰

Fingers crossed you’ll get good relief with the esomeprazole and cimetidine 🤞

Big hugs and thanks for sharing lovely 😊 🐑 🐑 🩷🩷🩷xxxx

Thanx so much dianne for your lovely messages. I'm so pleased you made it out to the bluebell wood and saw those wonderful babies!. I just love baby pygmy goats, they're my favourite i think for their characters. That must have felt wonderful to sit and just soak in all the lovely nature. Do you the world of good lovely.

You inspired me to walk down the garden as its brightened up here🌞and we've got lovely bluebells on a bank at the bottom of our garden. They are beautiful.

I'm glad you have had benefit from Esomeprazole and Cimetidine. My parents bought me some Esomeprazole so i've been trying it and its definitely better than omeprazole for indigestion. Do need the cimetidine too. Will be talking to gp on weds so will chase them up.

HUGE LUCK on tuesday at your MSK appt. Do hope its helpful and i'll be thinking of you. Big hugs Xx🐏💕🐏🤞

Thanks Helen 🙏

I haven’t tried esomeprazole but I might ask the dr if I can especially if they can’t get my brand of omeprazole, I do add in the cemetadine and it really does help when my heartburn/indigestion is really bad. Good luck with your GP chat on Wednesday. 🤞

How lovely to have bluebells at the bottom of your garden, they’re so pretty especially when they’re en masse and yes it really did me good, it was perfect, I can’t believe I’ve never been there before, it’s a shame they close the woods 10th May until next spring😞

Take care lovely, will let you know how MSK goes 💕🐑🥰🐐🐐🐐💕xxx
