I have only come across the subject of light sensitivity in connection with medical conditions such as lupus and migraines a few weeks ago and am intrigues to learn more about it.
I am a lighting designer by profession for 14 years now and have to admit that I had never come across this subject before spring this year. But now those bits of light sensitivity information keep finding me and intrigue me to look into further.
Hopefully by understanding this subject better I could make some kind of contribution by bringing more awareness into the world of lighting design professionals that design the lighting in workplaces and public spaces.
If you could help me with my research about lighting sensitivity by answering the 9 questions, I would much appreciate it!
I have created a questionnaire on Surveymonkey, the link to which is here:
Any information is much appreciated from you will hopefully help me to get a better picture of what causes light sensitivity!
It's my personal project right now and I am limited with funds. Surveymonkey only allows 25 responses on the free surveys, so I might have to create another one with a different link at some stage. I will keep you posted on that.
I am trying to get some financial backing for this by my work place, but likely will have to get some material together first in order to be able to get this approved.
I do have contacts to some well-known people in lighting design and lighting research, so hopefully I can get some interest and awareness within the industry, with the ultimate goal of getting a proper research study for this. Fingers crossed!
