So I get this on occasion mostly a loss of appetite and feel like I can't eat properly. I may just snack on small things here and there. I can drink with no problem. However recently this week I have been feeling really nauseous and loss of appetite when thinking about any food from my favourite cake to chips anything seems repulsing to me. (NOT PREGNANT NO CHANCE).
I'm bit concerned as to why this could be can anyone shed some light. I get it alot but this week has been pretty intense barely eaten.

Hi I have been suffering from this too! I put it down to my sjrogens. But two months before Xmas I started to reduce my Prednisone from 10mg. I started being sick just now and then but two weeks before Xmas I was sick every day at least 4times a day!! Drs gave me sick pills even they didn't help. Then I decided nope it's the Prednisone reduction so I went back up to 10mg from 5mg and I was okish for a while. Now I have covid! (Don't know how I got it) but iv started being sick again and can barely eat. I'm back to my ensure shakes and feeling nauseous all the time and NO appetite atall. I wish I could be more help. But just thought I'd let you know you're not on your own. Just have ensures to keep your vitamins and minerals up and when you can eat do and don't beat yourself up about it. I'd be very interested if you can find an answer.Keep up the good fight!!
Hi! You mentioned you had Covid. I had Covid Nov. 2020. Along with other symptoms, nausea was bad. I have long covid and the nausea continued. It is better now, but occasionally still occurs along with diarrhea, A-Fib, no stamina, etc. With Lupus also, some symptoms are hard to separate like sudden overwhelming fatigue that moving any part of the body seems difficult until after resting for hours. I also lost my sense of taste and smell and that has not come back. I don't have any answers nor do the doctors it seems. Take good care.
Hi, I get bad nausea and have loss of appetite etc. I discovered 'Queasey Drops', chemo patients suck them, they are a natural product and not cheap but do work! xx
Hi Danielle 🤗Yes I experience lack of appetite n nausea when there's any mention of food sometimes. As long as you're drinking fluids try not to worry too much. It will pass hopefully.
Ginger tea helps with nausea..grated ginger in a cup of boiled water..put a plate over the jug or cup..add some honey/sweetness n then you can sip it. Even cold it's very refreshing!! 🌈😽😽Xx
My wife goes through similar feelings, as well. Interesting that other people with LUPUS have similar feelings. This helps me better understand. Thank you.
