Autoimmune flare up

Hi All

Not posted for quite some time. Just wanted to ask your views.

Over the years my AID has flared quite a number of times and attacked most of my major organs. Now it is my stomach's turn. I have had IBS-D for many years but for the past 2 years has been constant with associated discomfort. Recently I started vomiting with it which I have not had before, so the top and bottom of my stomach are causing me a lot of discomfort.

Would a course of prednisolone help to calm the inflammation?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Babs, sorry to hear you’re having problems. Thinks it’s best to get doctors advice as it could be a number of things and might have nothing to do with AID. Hope it settles or you get correct meds soon x
