Best to you Sara_A I had J&J in March have over 20 doctors and when half agreed to the shot , I got it with no problems other than a slight headache BUT it lasted 30 minutes so could be slight anxiety . I am a triple positive APS patient so Doc's were concerned . NOW they are on the fence about getting a booster to those that had the J & J here in the States . But I would get it if I needed I am in the hospital's { 4 different ones here in N.H. } every three days to get my PT/INR done at blood Lab along with a lot of doctors appointments . They no longer stop us at the entrances of the hospital buildings and ask questions about Covid symptoms . BUT masks are required where ever you are in the buildings .
Thanks Sara, I work as a receptionist in a Gp surgery and also have lupus so been called to have mine and will be having this at my workplace tomorrow all being well. Was a bit concerned but you've put my mind at ease xx
Hi Sara 🤗great news for you!! I'm glad to hear you're ok.Can I ask..did u have a booster or a third primary dose? I'm getting quite confused n you said that you're immune suppressed..I understood it as immunosuppressed people will have a third primary dose..followed by a booster dose six months later.
Also if it is a third primary dose was your third jab the same as the first two? The reason I'm asking this is because I've had two AZ so far and I'm just wondering if the third dose will also be AZ as I'm reading that Pfizer or Moderna will be given preferably but in cases where AZ was given on the first two..we can ask for it for the third. 🌈😽😽Xx
It was a booster dose, my 1st 2 were Pfizer in dec and Jan 3 wks apart and all the boosters will b Pfizer as far as I know, that's what we are giving in general practice so unless anyone knows any different....i don't want to say i know everything!! 😂😬 Yes I'm on 25mgs mtx injections and 10-30mgs pred daily and hydroxychloroquine.
This is very good to hear. I’ve to go for mine next Sunday, I was nearly cancelling it as I’m going on holiday the next day, I didn’t have any reactions last time, not even a sore arm. I had the Astra one but I believe it’s the Pfizer one I’m getting this time. Having to travel 30 mins to get it as well. Getting a PCR test that morning as well as I’m flying next day. Why do I get the feeling this is all going to go wrong. I’m too far down the line to cancel everything. Keep your fingers crossed for me xx
So I'm going to be honest and tell you all that I did feel a little flu like yesterday but not horrendous I did manage to go to work and see my patients and do my full 6 hours (unlike a lot of the other nurses in the area that had the job the same day as me! A number of them phoned in sick!) But the lupus warrior battled on 💪🤣🤣 hahaha!! I think because it seriously takes a lot for us to go off sick because if u are anything like me we have had a few sick episodes and cannot afford to b off sick for any little thing.
So I just felt a bit flu like a few sweats on and off and sore arm but totally fine today.
I've only posted because I didn't want to not tell u all I don't like to feel that I'm not being honest.
Please please don't let it put u off as I was fine I went to work I'm fine today x
