Hello everyone

Just have to post this daredevil kid goat called Brandy. He's decided to try to be 'Eddie the Kidd' leaping over a line of chickens on a farm in Isle of Mull just like the stuntman did!. Never a dull moment on a farm!.

Hope it makes you smile and your enjoying the sun as much or as little as you can. Its nicer to look out on. Keep safe and as well as possible.

Hi svfarmer, lovely to hear from you and glad you liked Brandy. He must be a proper little tinker on the farm. They're such characters pygmies!. Thanks so much for remembering my op. I havent heard anything and my gp on fri said chase it so im going to ring tomorrow. Its awful, im so jumpy for the phone and then so disappointed!. Its really stressful!.

How are you coping with your knee and will you have long wait for the ultrasound?. Its so tough being in a lot of pain!.

Hope Bea and Mira are doing well and you have a good week. Xx❤🌻❤🌻❤

Knee is not great, don’t know when I will have the ultrasound on it - We met up with Wooster who is Miras dad today, we had a lovely walk and came across some goats , both Mira and Bea weren’t bothered at all with them - we still keep in touch with Miras brothers too, she is such a little dot up to her brothers . I will keep my fingers crossed for you that you will get your operation very soon, so frustrating for you ❤️

Hi Misty, thank you for asking. The honest truth is everything is a struggle. My kneecap is sliding so I am putting weight on the other one which is unstable and my shoulder which I have had problems with since I dislocated it. The nerve type pain seems to be constant with the electric shock type pains when I stand or hobble. I am miserable but trying to be as independent as possible. I am helping Neil by sitting and preparing dough, veg, etc but things that need me standing by the stove are difficult. There is a big step down to the garden which I have grab handles for. It is normally ok with one stick and a grab handle but impossible now. Going out in the car is ok except for getting in and out. My leg doesn’t want to bend too far or straighten too much so I scream getting in and out but when I am in it feels like freedom. I might get Neil to take me up to the lake next week as I feel trapped if you know what I mean? I am crossing fingers that you get some good news tomorrow lovely, you have waited too long now xxx

Oh cecily im really sorry at your plight!. I do understand so well at the moment how horrid it is to feel trapped. I feel like im in prison and cant break free.

Thank you for your lovely wishes.

The nerve type pain they can treat with special painkillers. Must be so painful. We have a big step like you out into back garden and its not always worth the added pain to negotiate it. Would you have your garden adapted?. We may have to do ours for mum and i.

It would be great to see the lakes and an expanse of green and views. So important for us!.

Thinking of you and hoping it improves more each week. Xx

Thank you Misty, I will manage the garden once my leg has healed. I am finding Garbapentin helps tremendously but it makes me dozy all day so I try to not take it until the evening. The morphine just doesn’t touch this type of pain. When I said to Neil the step is too big he laughed. Of course it is not for him. It is like getting in and out of the shower. I have a poke outside and grab rails inside. Normally I have a step I use to get in but now because I have very restricted movement in my right leg using the step makes it worse. I was getting in today and Neil thought he was being helpful lifting my leg as I dragged it in but immediately the severe burning pain shooting into my groin made me scream. I am sorry that you and your Mum have issues with access to the garden. I hope you an get it sorted, it raises your spirits getting fresh air and earring he birds singing doesn’t it? Please let me know how you get on with chasing up your op xxx

I am a bit late too as ever Misty!! But I really love this cute little goat, I have always fancied a couple of them running about the garden!! They are so sweet and full of character, just what we need as a distraction from all we suffer from.Hope you get good news about the op very soon now. xx

Better late than never cutty, lovely seeing you on forum but not the time of night!. I love pygmies too, they're cheeky characters are wonderful.

I do hope your gp appt went well. My gp was very supportive and told me to chase op. I've phoned the hospital and they said the booker for orthapaedic ops would be emailed for any slots but im hearing nothing. Next week i will try again. Its so stressful and frustrating and we've got a bank holiday in between!. I hate those when waiting!. I expect you do too.

Keep well and safe dear friend. Xx🦔❤
