Constance Migraines and regular Headaches

Hi,

I have had bad headaches and migraines since I was a child, Since I have upper GI problems I stopped takes NSAIDS like ibruprohen which would always take them away but bad on the stomach. So I went to Neurologist this past September. They put my on Blood Pressure medicine and Topomax and Maxalt. The Topomax and blood pressure medicines upset my stomach I could not take them, So I relied on the Maxalt. But since I've been on the Maxalt I have had a constant headache for 3 months and strange jabbing pains in my head. Just last week my neurologist said stop taking the Maxalt. I just hope it didn't do anything permanent to me. Has anyone else had this problem with triptans like Maxalt or Nurtec? Also I took one does of ta preventive called Ajovy and am due for another shot coming up this week, It did not help my headaches at all with the first month's shot so I am reluctant to take the second one even though my neurologist wants me to. I read so many bad reviews online about it having severe side effects like nausea, vertigo, hearing loss severe pain in the neck etc. Has anyone tried it yet?

I tried nurtec and ajovy , nos ide effects on me and completely got rid of my migraines
