heres another photo of my rash! the one from my last post was last night so thats the most recent but the rash doesnt always look like that, sometimes its just at my joints as shown in this picture!

I often have a rash like that, that’s around my knuckles only. Can look red or a deeper colour and so they look like they are bruised. I don’t know what it is or why it happens and it comes and goes. They don’t hurt just have the rash. There is no particular pattern or trigger they just appear and can go just as quick. I have SLE.

It does sound like you have a good doctor who is Knowledgeable about autoimmune which is a jackpot as normally it is us convincing the doctor that these things are symptom or sign.

It’s a big diagnosis and not one anyone would wish for, it takes awhile to get used to. It is also variable for every patient and so hard to feel certain about it. There are some many variables, blood tests that don’t follow norms, different extremes and experiences. I hope it gets easier to takes on the diagnosis.
