PIP Tribunal today

I can’t remember the last time I’ve been so nervous! I wasn’t going to go because I dreaded it so much, and decided at pretty much the last moment.

However, I stumbled in, wearing dog walking clothes, dropping all my papers etc, and the head of the tribunal didn’t even ask me a question, just said their decision was that the DWP were wrong in their assessment, and that’s that!

So, I now have an official letter to tell the DWP they’ve been underpaying me for over a year ( that’s how long it’s taken to get to Tribunal) and that I have the full care payment until 2023. It’s been so long since I had the full payment I don’t even know how much I’m owed, but this will be a warm house this winter 🤗

I had a one and only day at dear old Harrogate Turkish Baths. I recommend it highly. Wonderful place. However, I spent my time swooning in the least hot chamber I could find. Dang that Raynaud’s plus low blood pressure!

My ex once got me a package there for a session of back massages. Why, I don’t know. I went to one, shrieked “get off” and managed to swap the rest for some swanky skin care 😊

You’ve given me the idea though, to ask a friend to accompany me to Harrogate in return for a slap up afternoon tea at Betty’s.

I want a Fat Rascal now 🤣

PS to anyone thinking I’m being off colour: Fat Rascals are a cakey/scone delight. Betty’s makes the best.

oh I took my mum for a medical massage at Gellert Baths in Budapest and the masseuse was built like a sumo wrestler...strangely, my mum thoroughly the extreme manipulation followed by a steam dip
