Hi everyone, I am noticing it is easy to buy CBD oil from reputable chemists such as Lloyds Pharmacy or boots. I've also been reading about CBD and Lupus. I struggle to tolerate a lot of pain meds and certainly can't take ibrufen, paracetamol is not enough. Has anyone got experience of CBD oil? Is it helpful? I would really appreciate people's thoughts as it us really expensive? Thanks everyone. All the best Kizzy

CBD oil?
Check with your doctors Kizzy if you are on any kind of medications, for example if anyone is on blood thinners, you should not take CBD.
The way that CBD is metabolized by your body can interfere with how your body normally metabolizes other drugs you take. ... One kind of drug you should pay special attention to is a blood thinner like warfarin. Taking CBD with warfarin can make the warfarin stay in your system for too long without being broken down
Hi Kizzy - I only take Hydroxychloroquine and Aciclovir which is not a problem for CBD oil. I have found that the oil is a great help to me as I have bad sleep problems sometimes. If it is ok for you to take, try a very small bottle. For pain I use Deep Freeze patches or spray. Patches last 12 hours and are really good. No drugs just menthol ingredients. Also Olbas Oil rubbed into joints or muscles relaxes them and eases pain. I haven’t used pain killers for ages as I also take a small amount of Turmeric every day . Good luck.
Thank you, I've bought some Tumeric and some Ginger too but haven't decided what to do with it? I have heard mixing with warm milk? How do you take your turmeric?
Hi Kizzy, I use fresh ground turmeric, black pepper and coconut milk to make my own “golden milk”. Have a google and find a recipe that suits you. I sometimes blitz it in the blender with non-dairy yoghurt, banana, cinnamon, a bit of fresh ginger and local honey for a lactose-free, gluten free, energy boost at breakfast - delicious!
