Flyn, I too suffer with the same, and as I've posted about this before so do other Lupies (lupus suffers). My rheumatologist blaims the steroids for the bruising 🙄, my gp says theyreboth a Lupus thing. For the itching I daily generously cover myself with non perfumed moisturiser, E45. I don't use soap, and before I moved I had a bath and used oilatum to have a soak, I still use in the shower but soaking in bath with it I found better. Hope this helps, remember you're never alone with Lupus UK.
Thank you Bronn for sharing your experience. I really appreciate it. I thought I have something weird happening in my body. So relieved that it is part of being a Lupie and not something else. Sending my love-Flyn xx
Bruising can be caused by lupus or be a side effect from some medications. Have you mentioned this to your doctor? They may wish to do some blood tests.
Regarding the itchyness, we have an article on our website with tips for coping with itching that you may find helpful - lupusuk.org.uk/coping-with-...
