Bruise

Yesterday I did a bit of one knee kneeling to get things done . This was for short times through out the day . I got a bruise straight away on my left knee when I got home and my right knee was red . I don't think its normal for that to happen so fast .

Are you able to get a gel pad or cushion to kneel on to help protect your knees?

I might have to look into it

What job do you do that requires kneeling LL?

I know what you mean. Being a Teaching Assistant I was constantly either kneeling or bending down over desks to talk to children at their level. It's more physically demanding than people think. I was constantly aching with the demands of the job, on your feet all day. X

I've made an appointment for doctors next Monday just to talk to her and see why the bruises come so easily

Hi Lou lamb

Are you on methotrexate? Bruising is one of the umpteen possible side effects - something I found out after dental surgery left me looking like a prize boxer, the dentist was horrified!

Best Wishes

Jenny

Are you on prednisolone and/or aspirin. I'm on both and constantly have bruises - it needs very little pressure to cause a bruise on me.

No only hydroxy and naproxen

You are setting yourself up for a medical freight train? Why not try a kneeling pad?

Does not matter if someone just holds my arm a bit too tight and I am bruised. Went on holiday and sat in a slatted chair for 1 1/2 next day I had a bruise the shape of the gap. You can get cream from the doctors to bring the bruise out quicker.

Have you tried arnica cream it's a good one I use it all the time as I bruise so easily. You can pick it up at the chemist. It soothes and clears it in half the time xx
