Hi whisperi t thank you for your reply. My health is up and down. Right now I got liver trouble. My count keeps going up and down. I've to go to the doctors to have blood taken. I all so get very very bad headache has well. I all so get very tied as well. If I go out for a day it take me a week to get over it. That is why I join so I can talke to other people who have lupus. I find it very hard to take to people about lupus. They just don't understand.

Hi Lupploo, my name's Kat and I'm 33years old I used to say young but I feel way older. I was diagnosed with lupus a year ago and lots of other overlapping I'm still very new to this mess. I have terrible flares. I'm so proud of you. Living with this for more than 30 years. It gives me hope it can get better. Thanks for the post. I love animals but my flares my get so bad my dad's got to take care of me and my little cat I got last year to keep me company when I don't feel good.

Hi Kat-twinkle. Thank you for you reply. I do have a lot more health issues. Òn going is I've got liver trouble. My count keeps going up and down. You were very lucky to get a diagnosed so quick becaue with me it stared when I was 17 years old. And it was well over 20 years be for I got my diagnosed.

Welcome to the LUPUS UK Community Forum. I hope that you find this a helpful place for information and support. Thank you for introducing yourself. Do you have any joint issues with your hands that affect your ability to knit or sew at times?

I have a lot of trouble with both hands. My fingers are twisting and are very sore and painfully. I have pins and neddles in both hands. And this is all the time. I do my knitting and sewing on my good day's.

Do you think the sewing and knitting helps to reduce the pain and stiffness in your hands at all?

I only knit and sew on my goods. I try my best to keep hands moving so they do not stuffing up. And knitting and seeing helps. But not all the time.
