Hi all, just wondering if anyone else suffers with melasma since being diagnosed with Lupus? Thanks

Hi 👋 I do, steadily been getting worse each year... 1st noticed in second pregnancy 8 years ago... worse since lupus diagnosed 3 years ago (pretty sure had longer though) it was horrendous last year, had a really dark moustache.

Seen a dermatologist and confirmed it, and reckons sun exposure causes... so, I’ve been a a lot more careful, factor 50 daily all year, even at hat on holiday.. so fingers crossed staying at bay so far 🤞x

Thank you, mine has gotten worse this past year. I had to take a hormone replacement medication so think that triggered it. Will be booking in to see someone x
